A Season of Thankfulness

November is traditionally a “thankful” month, where we try to be more intentional about being thankful for the blessings in our lives. As Christians this shouldn’t be something reserved for this season. It should be something we strive to do each day. The devil wants us to lose focus on this and pool our energies towards other feelings and actions. This week has been an interesting and anxious week for our country, and it’s easy to forget to be thankful and remember that our true Leader is the King of the universe. So no matter whether you were happy on Wednesday morning or sad, remember that He is King. Nothing that happens is a surprise to Him, and He can handle all of our earthly things…and He deserves our never-ending praise.

Sing praises to God, sing praises;

sing praises to our King, sing praises.

For God is the King of all the earth;

sing to him a psalm of praise.

God reigns over the nations;    

God is seated on his holy throne.

Psalm 47:6-8

We all have amazing blessings from our King, starting with Him.

He is Love.

He is Grace.

He is Mercy.

He is Strength.

He is Creativity.

He is Intelligence.

He is Perfection.

He is Master.

He is Magnificence.

He is All.
