We are His Variety

ANNOUNCEMENT:  February 9 at 3:15 pm, Carman Constituency Meeting in the church sanctuary. Please have at least 1 person/family present. Come and hear what is happening at Carman for the upcoming year! Every Carman family, please don't miss it!

When you look at this announcement (very important one by the way) what part jumps out at you? Is it the day, time, who is invited, where it is located? What is your eye drawn too? Probably every one of us will be drawn to a different location. That is because each of us are different. Our thoughts, history, minds, and interests are all different. God created us all so different. He did that intentionally. Why? 

It is almost like God wanted a variety of thoughts, interests and minds. I can't help as I prepare for the constituency to praise God for His plan for variety in Carman, MAC families, and society in general.  Last night at MAC Family night that variety was played out in a "Junk Scramble" where everyone brought a variety of junk and they combined their junk into their team's pile of junk. Each team then had different junk than other teams. Again, variety!

Take that variety idea and bring into the mix, Hebrews 10:24, 25

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Does God really want us, variety of humans, coming together, stirring each other up, encouraging one another? The answer is yes! Does He want that to be more or less as "the Day" approaches?  He wants us to do all that more and more why, because the variety of actions, thoughts, and interaction can put together the greatest picture of who God is. We need to see the biggest & best understanding of God's character & love and how best to see it but to have the variety come together and as a united family we can see the true love and character of God.  

Today I am thanking God for His variety. So, keep looking at announcements in all your variety ways.  (Don't miss February 9 at 3:15). But be sure to be together more and more so we can build the true picture of God's character of love and peace!
